8+ years of experience in compliance, AML, or financial regulatory roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level capacity. In-depth knowledge of global AML regulations, FATF guidelines, sanctions regimes, and cryptocurrency compliance best practices. Experience in building AML programs within fintech or blockchain/crypto environments. Strong knowledge of KYC/AML software, transaction monitoring systems, and compliance operations. Proven track record of regulatory interaction, including audits, inquiries, and licensing processes. Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or ICA are highly preferred.Preferred Skills
Experience with crypto compliance tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic). Familiarity with Sharia-compliant finance or ethical financial frameworks is a plus. Understanding of both centralized and decentralized finance operations. Ability to manage and scale international compliance teams in a startup environment.Level of studies: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
