Daimler Truck
The department "Fuel Injection Systems and Turbo Charger Development" designs and develops Daimler turbochargers and injection systems for Daimler Truck engines worldwide (diesel, gas, and hydrogen engines). Our scope ranges from the design and testing of these hardware components to the development of the necessary control systems, software functions, and application, as well as project management. The department functionally manages development activities within the framework of global projects in the international Daimler Truck development network, including the USA, Japan, China, Brazil, and India. Those who join our team will gain foundational knowledge in series production development, project management, and crisis management at the highest technical, organizational, and methodological levels.
Daimler Buses
At Daimler Buses, we shape the future of mobility around the globe. Our "Bus Technology”department is responsible for the development activities regarding HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) in all our ZEV & ICE buses worldwide. This includes component and system development as well as integration and application into our vehicles. For current and future city buses and coaches, we foster innovation towards zero-emission, efficiency and sustainability – while always engineering for great passenger and driver comfort.
The "Governance & Technical Compliance" department provides the organizational and regulatory framework for product development at Daimler Buses. Our focus areas range from homologation, functional safety, and cyber security to quality management, product development processes, and engineering IT. In the eDrive sector at our Design and Development eDrive/TransAxle department, you take responsibility for developing highly integrated electric drive systems – from system definition and function development to virtual design. You work closely with experts in testing, design, and simulation, actively shaping the future of sustainable mobility. As a trainee, you will be involved in key methodologies such as FMEA and learn to think about and manage complex systems in a holistic way.
At our Manufacturing Engineering Global Powersystems department, we plan production equipment and machines for the foundry, engine manufacturing, and zero-emission components. As part of our machining team, you will be responsible for planning and commissioning of modern production equipment – from process development to final acceptance. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and international partners and vendors - actively shaping the future of manufacturing. Daimler Buses
In the BUS planning division at our Production Planning Body in White & LF-Assembly department, we are shaping the production of the future in order to build the best buses in the world.
