As an accredited Luxembourg company, we cover almost the entire range of laboratory diagnostics in clinical analytics. We are a preferred international partner for special investigations in genetics, genomics and molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases. To expand our molecular diagnostics department, we are looking for a Medical Technical Assistant (f,m) Full-time: 40 hours/week; Saturday duty (alternating). Your tasks: To work in the department of molecular biology of infectious diseases. To ensure the reception and process samples. To perform nucleic acids extraction, quantification of DNA, and PCR . To analyse the results. Handling of partially and fully automated laboratory equipment. To work independently and according to the already established protocols. Use, maintenance, calibration and supervision of maintenance of laboratory equipment. Preparation and updating of SOPs/forms/procedures for specific equipment. Use of laboratory software (equipment, laboratory information system, management of documents and complaints). Ordering reagents and consumables required for the smooth functioning of the service. Conducting inter laboratory tests for the various parameters. Assisting the Head of Department / Deputy Head of Department in audits (internal and external). To take care of the premises of the laboratory. The above list is not exhaustive and other tasks may be added according to the needs of the department. Your profile: Training as a medical-technical assistant, laboratory technician, graduate biologist or similar. Professional recognition and authorisation to work in Luxembourg Experience in molecular biology, in particular PCR would be an advantage. Experience in quality management (ISO15189) is an asset.
